Salem Needs a Logger to Fix it.
How Todd Vaughn Plans to Return America First Politics to Senate District One.
Roseburg, Ore. “There’s nothing like RINO hunting with a chainsaw” is our favorite quote by Todd Vaughn, who is looking to unseat disgraced Senator David Brock Smith. David Brock Smith is mostly known for his corrupt politics and authoring some of the worst bills to crush rural Oregonians. He wrote the “Wildfire Mapping” bill that skyrocketed insurance premiums for rural homeowners and prevented banks from financing rural properties throughout the entire state of Oregon. That was bill was a great help to Tianqiao Chen, the Chinese Communist billionaire who is now the largest private landowner in Oregon. He wrote and championed the “Windmill” bill that paved the way for the Chinese wind power industrial complex scheduled to be installed in Coos Bay. That bill was a great help to progressive communist Thomas Tuttle (DBS’s single largest donor) who’s a San Francisco Democrat hedge fund manager for Communist China and a big “believer” in the climate crisis grift. He wrote the “Elliott State Forest Giveaway” bill that handed ownership of the Elliott State Forest to the progressive academics at Oregon State University, who immediately suspended all logging. He also voted to require and make taxpayers pay for tampons in elementary school boys bathrooms and to prevent the cleaning of the voter rolls in Oregon, which also brought back more than a half million previously deactivated voter registrations (people who died or moved out of state).
Let’s just say that Todd Vaughn would have done no such things, if he were Senator. And that’s one of the many reasons we love and support Todd Vaughn. He’s a very smart and tough logger who’s bared witness to the federal land grabs in the name of “endangered species” and “global warming” since the 1980’s and consistently stood up for his fellow loggers and the forests he harvests. He founded Responsible Forest Initiatives (ReFI) and became a full-blown activist for proper management of the Umpqua Forest.
Through his work, he became a prolific editorialist. He focused mostly on forestry issues but ultimately expanded to numerous political contentions. The body of his work can be found in The News Review and the The Beacon. Go check it out if you want an inside look at his politics.
But the most important thing to understand about Todd Vaughn and his #Vaughnstrong politics is that he is unequivocally and unwaveringly America First. He is a true constitutionalist with extraordinary knowledge and experience dealing with the issues facing rural Oregonians, especially those who live and work in the First Senate District of Oregon.
You can count on him to never sell out your interests because he doesn’t care about money, fame or titles. He cares about his family, his neighbors, his friends and the future generations in the great state of Oregon.
