Republican Challenger in House District 37, Ben Edtl, Appointed as First RUCPAC President

Tualatin, Ore. Firebrand politician and Civil Rights Leader, Ben Edtl, was appointed as President of the Republican Unity Caucus by the founding Directors. Since losing his small businesses in Portland in 2020, Edtl has been an outspoken critic of Oregon’s Republican establishment. He’s made a massive impact on statewide politics through his efforts to fundraise, file federal election and medical freedom lawsuits and organize a concentrated effort to takeover county parties with America First PCP’s and leadership across the sate.

He is the Founder of Free Oregon, the Creator of the Republican Unity Caucus and the Founder of Politogy, LLC. He left Politogy in the hands of Diane Rich, a career national advertising executive and political operative in Coos County, to unify urban and rural Republicans. He ran for State Senate in District 19 against Democrat Senate President Rob Wagner in 2022 and now challenging Progressive Rep. Jules Walters for her seat in Oregon’s 37th House District.

“I’m looking forward to continued fundraising and supporting our grassroots candidates across the state of Oregon. I strongly believe we can win the House in 2024 if we stay focused on eliminating Progressive government grifts, ending the homelessness and drug addiction epidemics created by destructive Progressive social experiments, and return control of local school districts back to the taxpayers.” Edtl said.

Ben is a fearless leader looking to take down corrupt politicians on both sides of the isle. He’s held strong to his convictions in the face of tremendous political pressure from both his friends and foes at the Capitol. He brought statewide attention to the dangers of Rob Wagner in 2022, prior to his election as Senate President by the Democrat Supermajority. And, during this primary season, his focus to eliminate disgraced Republican Senator David Brock-Smith in District 1 has motivated establishment attacks and grassroots support statewide.

Edtl is constantly “over the target” and has no problem “taking arrows” for his constituents. In a recent tweet Edtl stated: “The most terrifying thing to this Republican establishment is a man they can’t hurt with the facts they can’t change.” He believes that we simply cannot and will not defeat the Progressives in Salem, so long as our own leaders support the Progressive agenda.

Edtl played a significant role in bringing national attention to the brutal Hazelbrook Middle School attack of a small girl by a “trans” male in Tualatin, Oregon. “You don’t want to be the target of Ben Edtl. Considering his degree of grassroots support statewide, he brings a level of heat that’s rarely contended with.” stated Washington County Republican Party Chair, Gabriel Buehler.
