RUCPAC President Fights Back Against David Brock Smith’s Baseless Cease-and-Desist.

Tualatin, Ore. RUCPAC President, Ben Edtl, was served with a Cease-and-Desist by Oregon State Senator David Brock Smith regarding Edtl’s posting of memes featuring David Brock Smith as “Made in China” on social media. The letter also named radio talk show host, Rob Taylor, accusing him of “sharing RUCPAC posts via email.” Smith claims that the memes violate ORS 260.532, which states that “no one shall publish a false statement of material fact relating to any candidate, political committee or measure.”

“The satirical memes are highly effective at educating Republican voters and ridiculing his Progressive legislative record,” Edtl stated. “He’s a long standing member of the Oregon China Council as the Chair of the Southern Oregon China Connection. He also has direct financial ties with a billionaire Democrat from San Francisco, Thomas Tuttle, with direct business ties to Communist China. David Brock Smith has made numerous taxpayer funded trips to China to meet with members of the Chinese Communist Party to discuss economic trade.”

RUCPAC has provided an in-depth snippet of David Brock Smith’s voting record on Progressive bills that he’s helped make bipartisan. He was the Chief Sponsor of HB 3375 which opened the door for the 250 square mile offshore industrial wind power installation in which the machinery is all or in part manufactured in China. He voted to pass SB 762, the “Wildfire Mapping” bill that uses the “climate crisis” as justification to price and regulate rural Oregonians out of their properties and helps people like Tianqiao Chen (a communist billionaire who is the largest private landowner in Oregon) scoop those properties up. The RUCPAC’s position is that this is a communist bill designed to further enrich Chinese globalists and eliminate the wealth of middle class rural Oregonians. He was Chief Sponsor of SB 1546 which handed control of the Elliot State Forest to a board of progressive climate alarmists who immediately ceased all sustainable timber harvesting.

David Brock Smith’s voting record glares with Progressive support of the Chinese agenda in Oregon. He’s destroying the economy and jobs in his district attacking both the logging and fishing industries that sustain it. He’s voted to pass multiple bills that expand the homeless industrial complex, further socialized housing and healthcare, increased taxation on the middle class, further entrench DEI in our lives and voted to prevent the cleaning of inactive voter registrations to further jeopardize the security of our elections. All of these actions reflect the Communist Chinese agenda in Oregon.

RUCPAC has confirmed that David Brock Smith is, in fact, the Republican ringleader - the money mule - who acts as a funnel to receive and distribute money from WEF, Progressive and Communist influencers like Thomas Tuttle, a billionaire Democrat from San Francisco with business ties to the Chinese Communist Party who is Smith’s largest campaign contributor.
