David Brock-Smith: The More He Says, The More He Lies…

David Brock-Smith denies what a recent public records request has revealed about his largest donors.

Gold Beach, Ore. – In Response to RUCPAC’s Nov. 27 2023 expose of his ties to Chinese Communist money, Progressive Republican Senator David Brock-Smith widely circulated a 19-page / 8,987-word manifesto in a failed attempt to distract from the truth about his legislative record. In response to our claim that his largest donor, Thomas Tuttle, is a San Francisco Democrat with ties to Chinese Communists, Brock-Smith stated: “Mr. Tuttle is a registered Independent voter. He is NOT a Democrat campaign contributor from San Francisco California.”

Conservative radio talk show host Rob Taylor, who was recently bullied off the air by Brock-Smith and Thomas Tuttle for asking basic questions, recently conducted a public voting records requests on Tuttle, in both Oregon and California.

The documents show, plain as day, that Tuttle is actively registered to vote in both Oregon and California. He is registered in California (his home state) as a Democrat and simultaneously registered in Oregon as an Independent. When comparing the two documents, each returned by the states of Oregon and California, we can see that he has been illegally casting vote-by-mail ballots in both states since 2012.

In Brock-Smith’s self-aggrandizing manifesto, he stated: “Mr. Tuttle’s contributions helped Republicans get elected and take back our state.” Our question is: what kind of Republicans is Tuttle helping to elect?

Since Brock-Smith was appointed to the Senate in January 2023, all Republican senators (except David Brock-Smith) lost their ability to hold office in the next term. This was as a result of the deal made between Senate President Rob Wagner and Republican leadership to return to the senate floor, make a quorum and pass house bills 2002 and 2005. The leadership office, led by Tim Knopp and Vicki Breese-Iverson, called it a victory. And they were right. Passing a de facto gun ban and taxpayer funded sex changes for minors without parental consent, while at the same time eliminating 12 Republican incumbents, is a HUGE victory – for Progressive Democrats like Thomas Tuttle.
